Acceptable Use Policy

This acceptable use policy covers the products, services, and technologies (collectively, the “Products”) provided by E Line Solutions LLC under any ongoing agreement. It’s designed to protect us, our customers, and the general Internet and manufacturing community from unethical, irresponsible, and illegal activity.

E Line Solutions LLC customers found engaging in activities prohibited by this acceptable use policy can be liable for service suspension and account termination. In extreme cases, we may be legally obliged to report such customers to the relevant authorities.

Fair Use

We provide our facilities with the assumption your use will be “business as usual”, as per our offer schedule. If your use is considered excessive, additional fees may be charged or capacity may be restricted.

We are opposed to all forms of abuse, discrimination, rights infringement and/or any action that harms or disadvantages any group, individual or resource. We expect our customers and, where applicable, their users (“end-users”) to likewise engage our Products with similar intent.

Customer Accountability

Customers are responsible for their own actions as well as for the actions of anyone using our Products with the customer's permission. This responsibility also applies to anyone using our Products on an unauthorized basis as a result of the customer's failure to put in place reasonable security measures.

By accepting Products from us, customers agree to ensure adherence to this policy on behalf of anyone using the Products as their end users. Complaints regarding the actions of customers or their end-users will be forwarded to the nominated contact for the account in question.

If a customer—or their end-user or anyone using our Products as a result of the customer—violates this policy, we may terminate any Products associated with the offending account or the account itself, or take any remedial or preventative action we deem appropriate without notice. To the extent permitted by law, no credit will be available for interruptions of service resulting from any violation.

Prohibited Activity

Copyright & Intellectual Property; Unlawful Material

Our Products must not be used to transmit, distribute, manufacture, or store any material in violation of applicable law. This includes but isn’t limited to:

  1. any material protected by copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, industrial design or other intellectual-property right used without proper authorization; and
  2. any material that is obscene, defamatory, constitutes an illegal threat, or violates export-control laws.

The customer is solely responsible for all material they input, upload, disseminate, transmit, create or publish through or on our Products, and for obtaining legal permission to use any works included in such material.

Spam & Unauthorized Message Activity

Our Products must not be used to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (“spam”) in violation of laws applicable to your jurisdiction. This includes sending spam, soliciting customers from spam sent from other service providers, and collecting replies to spam sent from other service providers.

Our Products must not be used to run unconfirmed mailing lists or telephone number lists (“messaging lists”). Subscribing addresses or numbers without the owner’s permission is prohibited. All messaging lists run on or hosted by our Products must be confirmed opt-in. Verification of permission must be retained for the lifespan of the list. Purchased lists are prohibited.

This policy applies to messages sent using our Products, or to messages sent from any network by the customer or any person on the customer's behalf, that directly or indirectly refer the recipient to a site hosted via our Products.

Unethical, Exploitative & Malicious Activity

Our Products must not be used to advertise, transmit, or otherwise make available any software, program, product, or service designed to violate this policy or the acceptable use policy of other providers. This includes facilitating spam and initiating network sniffing, pinging, packet spoofing, flooding, mail-bombing, or denial-of-service attacks.

Our Products must not be used to access any account or electronic resource without authorization (e.g., “hacking”, “cracking”, “phreaking”). Customers must not intentionally or recklessly introduce viruses or malicious code into our systems.

Harassing behavior—including hate-speech, advocacy of racial or ethnic intolerance, threats, abuse, discrimination, or any activity intended to infringe upon the rights of a group or individual—is prohibited.

Other unethical or malicious activities include:

  1. Obtaining (or attempting to obtain) services from us with the intent to avoid payment;
  2. Using our facilities to obtain (or attempt to obtain) services from another provider with the intent to avoid payment;
  3. Unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction (or any attempt thereof) of any information about our customers or end-users;
  4. Interfering with the use of our facilities and network by other customers or authorized individuals;
  5. Publishing or transmitting content or links that incite violence, depict violent acts, depict child sexual abuse material, or threaten health and safety;
  6. Any act or omission in violation of consumer-protection or privacy laws; and
  7. Any violation of a person’s privacy.

Our Products may not be used by any person or entity involved with or suspected of involvement in activities relating to illegal gambling; terrorism; narcotics trafficking; arms trafficking; or the proliferation, development, design, manufacture, production, stockpiling, or use of nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons, weapons of mass destruction, or missiles; including any affiliation with others who support such activities.

Unauthorized Use of E Line Solutions LLC Property

We prohibit impersonation of E Line Solutions LLC, misrepresentation of a significant business relationship with E Line Solutions LLC, or claims of ownership of any E Line Solutions LLC property (including our Products and brand) for the purpose of fraudulently gaining service, custom, patronage, or user trust.

3D Printing–Specific Restrictions

Design Ownership & Rights to Reproduce

Customers submitting 3D models, CAD files, or print requests must ensure they own or are authorized to reproduce the design. Uploading or printing designs that infringe third-party rights (including patents, copyrights, trademarks, industrial designs, or trade secrets) is strictly prohibited.

Restricted & Regulated Items

Customers may not upload, request, or manufacture any object that is illegal to produce, distribute, or possess, including:

  • Firearms, firearm parts, frames/receivers, ammunition, suppressors, or accessories designed for weapon assembly (including “ghost gun” components);
  • Explosives, weapons, or objects primarily designed to injure or facilitate violence; military/paramilitary items;
  • Drug-related items or paraphernalia; counterfeit goods or replicas of branded items;
  • Objects that violate U.S. export-control laws (including ITAR/EAR) or state/local regulations.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel any print job suspected of violating these restrictions and to report unlawful content to authorities where required.

Product Safety & User Responsibility

3D-printed parts may vary in strength, porosity, and finish. Customers are solely responsible for verifying that printed objects are safe and appropriate for their intended purpose, particularly for mechanical, load-bearing, medical, or other safety-critical uses. E Line Solutions LLC is not responsible for injury, property damage, or loss arising from misuse, inadequate testing, or modification of printed parts.

Representations, Warranties & Indemnification

  • Customer represents and warrants that they have all necessary rights and permissions to upload, reproduce, and manufacture all submitted materials and designs, and that such use complies with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless E Line Solutions LLC, its officers, and employees from any claim, liability, cost, or expense arising from their use of the Products, including claims relating to intellectual-property infringement, product safety, export-control breaches, or misuse.

Monitoring, Enforcement & Service Suspension

We may monitor uploads, print requests, or other use of our systems to ensure compliance. We may suspend, reject, or delete files and orders that appear to violate this policy or that may expose the company to legal or reputational risk. We may cooperate with law enforcement or rights holders during investigations. Such enforcement actions may occur without notice.

About This Policy

This policy outlines a non-exclusive list of activities and intent we deem unacceptable and incompatible with our brand.

We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time by publishing the revised version on our website. The revised version will be effective from the earlier of:

  • the date the customer uses our Products after we publish the revised version on our website; or

Satisfaction & Order Resolution Policy

We stand behind the quality of every product we ship. If something isn’t right, we’ll work with you to reprint, replace, or refund as appropriate—quickly and fairly.

What This Covers

Eligibility Window

Please contact us within 5 business days of delivery to initiate a return, replacement, or reprint.

Condition Requirements (Stock Items)

  • Items must be unused and in original condition/packaging.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility unless we made an error or the item arrived damaged/defective.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items (3D Printing)

  • Non-returnable once production begins due to customization and inability to resell.
  • If a custom item arrives defective, damaged, or materially different from the approved file/spec, we will reprint/replace it, or issue a refund if a remedy isn’t feasible.
  • We may request photos, measurements, or a sample return for evaluation.
Tip: For custom parts, please review and approve proofs/specs carefully. Tolerances, surface finish, and material properties can vary by process and are part of standard additive manufacturing characteristics.

Refunds & Processing Time

  • After we receive and inspect returned items—or validate an issue for custom orders—we’ll process approved refunds to the original payment method.
  • Please allow up to 5–10 business days for processing (bank/processor timelines may vary).

Shipping Costs

  • Customer-paid for preference-based returns (change of mind, wrong size/spec ordered, etc.).
  • We cover shipping for errors attributable to us or for damaged/defective items.

Exclusions

  • Items returned used, altered, or not in original condition (for stock items).
  • Custom items where the delivered part matches the approved file/spec and falls within stated process tolerances.
  • Design defects in customer-supplied files (e.g., insufficient wall thickness not corrected prior to print).

Damage in Transit

If your order arrives damaged, please keep the packaging and product, photograph the damage, and contact us within 5 business days. We’ll handle the carrier claim and arrange a reprint/replacement or refund.

Compliance Notes

  • We ship within the timeframe stated at purchase (or within 30 days if none is stated). If we cannot ship on time, we’ll notify you and offer options per FTC rules.
